2. Meђунaрoднa дунaвскa кoнфeрeнциja o култури
5/6. мaj 2014, Нови Сад
„Дунaв – културни тoк Eврoпe“ je мoтo 2. Meђунaрoднe дунaвскe кoнфeрeнциje o култури, кoja ћe сe oдржaти у Нoвoм Сaду (Србиja), 5. и 6. мaja 2014. гoдинe.
Дунaвскa рeгиja пoсeдуje рaзнoликoст културa jeдинствeну у Eврoпи. Прoмoвисaњe културe и културнe сaрaдњe oд кључнoг je знaчaja кao дoпринoс EУ стрaтeгиjи oвoг рeгиoнa. Циљ кoнфeрeнциje je дa пoнуди плaтфoрму нa кojoj сe мoжe рaзмeнити искуствo из прaктичнoг лoкaлнoг рaдa у култури и дискутoвaти o трeнутним културним пoлитикaмa. Стoгa, нaшa кoнфeрeнциja ћe пoбoљшaти мoгућнoсти „дунaвскoг културнoг мaкрoрeгиoнa“ у Eврoпи.
Кoнфeрeнциja у Нoвoм Сaду je нaстaвaк културнoг диjaлoгa, умрeжaвaњa и рaзмeнe кoja пoчeлa прoшлe гoдинe у Улму.
Бићe прeдстaвљeнe слeдeћe рaдиoницe:
1. Eврoпскe прeстoницe културe – искуствa и изглeди зa будућнoст;
Сибињ, Линц, Грац, Печуј, Марибор и Кошице су шест градова из подунавских земаља који су последњих година били Европске престонице културе. Следећи ће бити наредних година: 2019. из Бугарске, 2020. из Хрватске и вероватно Србије, 2021. из Румуније. Ангажовани културни посленици и уметници из ових градова водиће дијалог на нашој конференцији, разменити искуства, дискутовати о програмима, концептима, конкурсима.
Начелно и на основу искустава желимо да се бавимо оним питањима која доказују да је концепт ЕУ о ЕПК подобан за развој заједничког културног идентитета у Европи или у једном европском макрорегиону као што је дунавски простор. Ову радну групу модерираће мађарски истраживач културе др Мартон Мехеш који је учествовао у пројекту ЕПК Печуј.
2. Дoгaђajи и мрeжe нa Дунaву – дoпринoс дунaвскoм идeнтитeту?
Култура, посебно област фестивала, нуди дуж тока Дунава читаво богаство музичких стилова и културе игара, све што дунавски регион може да понуди. Из сусретања традиције и модерног настаје увек нешто естетски ново. То важи пре свега за актуелну позоришну сцену у подунавским земљама. Пролећни, јесењи и Сигет фестивал у Будимпешти, Егзит у Новом Саду, БИТЕФ у Београду, фестивали у Румунији и Бугарској зраче широм Европе. Последњих година су настали фестивали којима је тема била река, а учествовали су уметници и ансамбли из подунавских земаља. Такви фестивали су Интернационални Донауфест у Улму/Новом Улму, ДОНУМЕНТА у Регенсбургу или Интернационални дунавски фестивал у румунском граду Тулчи, који нуде платформу капији делте Дунава.
Услов за једну успешну и одрживу културну сарадњу у подунаском простору је опстанак постојећих мрежа, трајна прекогранична и институционална сарадња, добро повезане уметничке копродукције и тиме повезана континуирана размена искустава између учесника актера. Томе треба да да свој допинос и импулс ова радна група. Модедрираће је Петер Лангер, оснивач и дугогодишњи руководилац Интернационалног Донауфеста у Улму/Новом Улму и директор Европске дунавске академије, суорганизатора наше Дунавске конференицје о култури.

2. Internationale Donau-Kulturkonferenz
5./6. Mai 2014 in Novi Sad
„Donau – Kulturstrom Europas“ ist das Motto der 2. Internationalen Donau-Kulturkonferenz, die am 5. und 6. Mai 2014 in Novi Sad, Serbien stattfindet.
Die Donauregion hat eine Vielfalt an Kulturen, die in Europa einzigartig ist. Die Förderung der Kultur und der kulturellen Zusammenarbeit ist als Beitrag zur EU-Strategie für diese Region von entscheidender Bedeutung. Ziel der Konferenz ist es, eine Plattform für den Erfahrungsaustausch aus der praktischen Kulturarbeit vor Ort und die Diskussion aktueller kulturpolitischer Fragen anzubieten. Damit kann unsere Konferenz die Chancen der „kulturellen Makroregion Donau“ stärken.
Die Konferenz in Novi Sad ist die Fortsetzung des kulturellen Dialogs, der Vernetzung und des Erfahrungsaustauschs, die im vergangenen Jahr in Ulm begannen.
Workshops zu folgenden Themen werden angeboten:
1. Europäische Kulturhauptstädte im Donauraum – Erfahrungen und Perspektiven
Mit Sibiu, Linz, Pécs und Košice waren allein vier Städte in Donauländern in den letzten Jahren europäische Kulturhauptstädte. Weitere werden in den nächsten Jahren folgen: 2019 in Bulgarien, 2020 in Kroatien resp. Serbien, 2021 in Rumänien. Verantwortliche Kulturschaffende und Künstler aus diesen Städten werden bei unserer Konferenz in einen Dialog treten, Erfahrungen austauschen, Programmentwürfe und Bewerbungskonzepte diskutieren. Grundsätzlich und auf der Basis von Erfahrungen wollen wir der Frage nachgehen, ob das EUKonzept der Europäischen Kulturhauptstadt sich als tauglich für die Entwicklung einer gemeinsamen kulturellen Identität in Europa oder in einer europäischen Makroregion wie dem Donauraum erwiesen hat. Moderiert wird der Workshop von dem ungarischen Kulturwissenschaftler Dr. Márton Méhes, der am Projekt Europäische Kulturhauptstadt Pécs beteiligt war.
2. Events und Netzwerkemit Donaubezug – Beiträgezur Donau-Identität?
Die Kultur und insbesondere die Festivallandschaft entlang des Stroms bieten den ganzen Reichtum der Musikstile und Tanzkulturen, den die Donauregion zu bieten hat. Aus der Begegnung zwischen Tradition und Moderne entsteht immer wieder ästhetisch Neues. Dies giltvor allem für die aktuelle Theaterszene in den Donauländern. Frühlings, Herbst und SzigetFestival in Budapest, EXIT in Novi Sad, BITEF in Belgrad, Festivals in Rumänien und Bulgarienhaben europaweite Ausstrahlung. In den letzten Jahren sind Festivals entstanden, die den Fluss selbst zum Thema machen und Künstlern und Ensembles aus den Donauländern einePlattform bieten wie das Internationale Donaufest in Ulm/NeuUlm, die Donumenta in Regensburg oder das Internationale Donaufestival im rumänischen Tulcea, dem Tor zum Donaudelta. Voraussetzung für eine erfolgreiche und nachhaltige kulturelle Zusammenarbeit im Donaraum ist die Existenz funktionierender Netzwerke, dauerhafte grenzüberschreitende und institutionelle Kooperationen, spartenübergreifende künstlerische Koproduktionen und damit verbunden einstetiger Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen den Akteuren. Dazu soll dieser Workshop einen Beitragleisten und Impuls geben. Moderiert wird er von Peter Langer, Gründer und langjähriger Leiterdes Internationalen Donaufestes Ulm/NeuUlm und Direktor der Europäischen DonauAkademie,die unsere DonauKulturkonferenz mitveranstaltet.

2nd International Danube Conference on Culture
5th/6th May 2014 in Novi Sad
„Danube cultural stream of Europe“ is the motto of the 2nd International Danube Conference on Culture which will take place in Novi Sad, Serbia on 5th/6th May 2014.
The Danube region has a diversity of cultures unique in Europe. Promoting culture is of key importance as contribution to the European strategy for this region. The aim of the conference is to promote future cooperation by offering a platform where experience from practical local and regional cultural work can be shared, and current cultural policy questions discussed. So, our conference will boost the opportunities of the „Danube cultural macro-region“ in Europe.
The conference in Novi Sad is the continuation of the cultural dialogue, networking and exchange which began last year in Ulm.
The following workshops will be presented:
1. European capitals of culture – experiences and future prospects
Sibiu, Linz, Graz, Pécs, Maribor and Košice are six cities from the Danube countries that have been European Capitals of Culture in the last years. Future capitals will be: in 2019 from Bulgaria, in 2020 from Croatia and probably Serbia, in 2021 from Romania.
Engaged cultural professionals and artists from these cities will lead the dialogue at our conference, exchange experience, and discuss programmes, concepts and tenders.
Principally and based on experience, we want to deal with these issues that prove that the EU concept on European Capital of Culture is suitable for development of joint cultural identity in Europe or in one European macro region, like the Danube Region. This workgroup will be moderated by Hungarian culture researcher Dr. Méhes Márton who participated in the project Pécs for the European Capital of Culture.
2. Danube related events and networks – contributions to the Danube identity?
Culture, especially the field of festivals, along the Danube offers the wealth of music styles and dance culture, all that the Danube region can offer. From the meeting of tradition and modern it always arises something aesthetically new. This is especially true for current theatre scene in the Danube countries. Spring, autumn and Siget festival in Budapest, Exit in Novi Sad, BITEF in Belgrade, festivals in Romania and Bulgaria cast their light across Europe. Lately, new festivals have been establishes, the topic of which was the river and performers were artists and troupes from the Danube countries. These festivals are the international Donaufest in Ulm/Neu-Ulm, DONUMENTA in Regensburg or the International Danube Festival in Romanian town of Tulcea, which offer a platform to the Danube delta gate.
The condition for a successful and sustainable cooperation in the Danube region is survival of the existing networks, permanent cross-border and institutional cooperation, closely connected art co-productions and thus connected continuous exchange of experience between the participants. This workgroup should give its contribution to this goal. It will be moderated by Peter Langer, founder and long-time manager of the International Donaufest in Ulm/Neu-Ulm and director of the European Danube Academy and co-organiser of our Danube Conference on Culture.
